2008 Association of American Hockey League Booster Clubs Convention

Hilton Hotel and Conference Center, Scranton, Pennsylvania

The 44th annual Association of American Hockey League Booster Club Convention will be held on September 5th-7th, 2008 at the Hilton Hotel & Conference Center
in Scranton, Pennsylvania and will be hosted by the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins Booster Club.

The theme for Friday night’s dinner will be Nickelodeon’s TV Land.  Once again, pricing is very affordable for this year’s event.  Start to make your plans as
registration forms will be available through your club in early January.  

Scranton is home to the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company.  Fans of television show “The Office” on NBC can visit many of the landmarks located in the Electric City.  
Scranton is also home to the Steamtown National Historic Site, which holds one of the largest collections of working steam locomotives in the world.

The Hilton Hotel & Conference Center is located in a wonderful downtown hotel location, which is two blocks away from a two-floor shopping mall and many other
wonderful shops, restaurants and pubs.

Here is the pricing for this convention:

Early arrival rooms (for those who intend to stay over Thursday night) are priced at $98.

Convention pricing is per person based on room occupancy and includes all taxes and gratuities.

Standard Room (2 Double or 1 King) (Fri, Sat & Sun):

Single - $320 / Double - $210 / Triple - $180 / Quad - $165

Includes 2 nights, 2 breakfast buffets, 1 dinner buffet, and 1 sit down dinner.
