| Hockey Scholarship Information |
The following information explains the process of awarding youth hockey scholarships to a
New England Hockey Camp.
Does your child play hockey in a local house league? Are you a coach or officer in a NH house
hockey league? If so, the Manchester Monarch Booster Club is offering several scholarships
to attend hockey school.
The Jennifer Kemp Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 2004 to honor one of the
MMBC’s founding members after her untimely death. Jen was a huge supporter of both the
Manchester Monarchs and UNH mens’ hockey teams. We believe it is fitting to name our scholarship in her honor.
Our scholarship is intended to benefit young hockey players, from mites to bantam level, who play house hockey, and who would benefit from participation in
these hockey camps. Players in house leagues often do not have the financial means by which to attend developmental camps. Our goal is to assist such worthy
players.
The application process is simple. If you are a coach, please send us the names of up to four (4) needy players to scholarship@monarchsboosters.com who
could benefit from attendance at one or the other of the camps. Then, ask those four (4) players to write a letter, explaining why they think they should be
awarded a scholarship and what benefit they hope to derive from their attendance.
If you are a parent, please contact the MMBC at scholarship@monarchsboosters.com. We would ask that you and your child write a letter as well, explaining
financial circumstances, why your child should be awarded a scholarship, and what benefit they hope to derive from their attendance.

| Jennifer Kemp Memorial Pins |
| The MMBC has memorial pins available to honor our friend Jen, who passed away in late November, 2004. The pin is a purple ribbon with "Jennifer" and the dates in which she shared time with us, plus a heart on the top. All proceeds from this pin will go toward the Jennifer Kemp Memorial Hockey Scholarship Fund. The pins are $5 each. Stop by the booster club table behind Section 119 to purchase your "Jen Pin". |
