Manchester Monarchs Booster Club recently voted on what player they thought
deserved to win the 2007-2008 MMBC/Wild Rover Player of the Year Award.
In what was a very close vote, Brian Boyle was selected by the fans as the 2007-2008
MMBC/Wild Rover Player of the Year. Congrats Brian!!!
Brian was presented his award during the Monarchs on-ice award ceremony held
before the April 12, 2007 home game vs. the Providence Bruins. MMBC President Bill
Walch and Vice President Marlene Lein presented the award to Brian.
The award is made in the shape of the State of New Hampshire, with the MMBC logo
on the upper part of the award and below it the inscription of “The MMBC honors
Brian Boyle as Player of the Year 2007-2008 in recognition of his outstanding
contributions to the Manchester Monarchs during the entire season”.
Along with the award, Brian received a $50.00 gift card to the Wild Rover Restaurant &
Pub located at 21 Kosciuszko Street in Manchester, NH. The Wild Rover is the
sponsor of the MMBC’s Player Award for the Year. Well earned, Brian!!!
Previous recipients of the MMBC/Wild Rover Player of the Year Award were Pavel
Rosa (2003-2004) , Mike Cammalleri (2004-2005), Petr Kanko (2005-2006) and Jason
LaBarbera (2006-2007).
